Home to one of Mallorca’s most interesting modern art galleries at CCA Andratx cultural centre, its quaint, narrow streets and rustic heritage make it a truly authentic place to visit. The upper part of town consists of old houses along cobbled streets; at the top is the fortress-like church of Santa Maria and from here you can see the Port of Andratx.

The natural surroundings are simply breathtaking and inspire many hikers and walkers with beautiful mountains, valleys, coastal and forest scenery.

There’s a lively local market on Wednesday mornings and on Sunday mornings there is a fun and informal wine tasting event in Bodegas Santa Catarina. You can even picnic in the vineyard for a very special experience.

The famous nature resort of the Island of Dragonera is nearby and there are regular boat trips from many of the surrounding towns. There is also a challenging golf course nearby popular with the island’s glitterati.
